Family Tech Tools

For each student, depending on their grade level, numerous tech tools and services are available in our classrooms to support learning. Secondary students have their own Chromebooks, allowing them to access these resources from home.

Student Tools

• Canvas — A teacher-led digital classroom system for secondary students. Families can shadow their student's classes.
• Clever — A central hub of portals and links for many digital resources.
• Skyward Family Access — The main student information portal (grades, attendance, etc.)
• Chromebook — These small laptops are available in elementary classrooms and are assigned to secondary students individually for year-round use.
• Google Apps — documents, slide decks, and more to create and share assignments. Integrated into Canvas for ease in submitting work.
• Securly — Internet safety and content filter on a Chromebook. Families have access to reports and history from this tool.

Family Communication Tools

• ParentSquare — school-to-family, classroom-to-family, and district-to-family communications.
• Peachjar — an electronic bulletin board of district, school, and community flyers for events, announcements.
